We started ROTATEMP to answer a stubborn problem: keeping cold-climate spaces warm without depending on fuel deliveries or long conversion chains.
Our approach
Simple physics, hard climates
Nova Scotia winters make the case plainly: heat is expensive, fuel logistics are fragile, and many sites already have wind to spare. ROTATEMP designs devices that turn that wind — or any rotary motion — directly into heat, using eddy currents rather than a generator-and-heater chain.
Our aim is distributed, fuel-independent warmth for greenhouses, farms, homes, industry, remote areas and marine or defense sites. We'd rather ship something honest and well-characterized than overstate what an early technology can do — so our published figures are clearly framed as concept-level until validated on real hardware.
